Charlie Picasso

“Close your eyes,” Husband Charles said mysteriously as I greeted him and Charlie in the garage after work.

Score! I got flowers, I thought.

What he handed me was so much better: Charlie’s first artwork, made with the loving help of Grandma B.

She said Charlie recognized that something changed when he touched the uncapped marker to the piece of paper. And she’s a longtime child educator, so she knows what she’s talking about. 😉

Look at the color palette! The composition! MY CHILD IS BRILLIANT!

I don’t know the art looks more like a Pollock to me.

I agree that it’s more Pollock than Picasso. Having said that, FRAME IT!

So cute! We got an Aquadoodle as a gift for Bella’s birthday, and while she does seem to notice that something happens when she puts the water marker on the pad, she is far MORE interested in sucking the water out of the pen.
